My story
Hi, I'm Leida. I'm Angolan and from a very young age I understood that braiding was much more than hairstyling.
I grew up surrounded by hands that cared, created, and passed on love through hair. In every braid there was a story, a heritage, and a way of honouring who we are.
When I arrived in Alicante, braids became my link to my roots — my way of feeling close to home even when far away. What started as a personal need grew into a vocation born from the heart.
That's how Bellezafro was born: a space designed to care for, enhance, and celebrate the beauty of every woman — Afro, Latina, or Spanish. My wish is for every client to feel unique, confident, beautiful, and supported, with the comfort of receiving that care in their own home.
Because Afro beauty is not a trend or just a hairstyle. It's art. It's culture. It's identity. It's a profound expression of who we are.
And at Bellezafro, it comes to you. 🖤
Why at home?
Because I know what it's like to sit for 5 hours in an uncomfortable salon. If you're going to spend an entire morning caring for your hair, you deserve to be on your sofa, with your music, with your coffee. Because mums shouldn't have to find someone to watch the kids.
I come to your home with everything needed — the kanekalon, the tools, the expertise. You just need to be comfortable.
"Bringing the art of African braiding to your home, with the same dedication with which I was taught."
